I am Mircea Benescu, professional trader and passionate success coach.

My dream is to bring a contribution to the society by empowering people to live their lives to the full.

Sometimes we experience events or situations which discourage us and make us lose our self-confidence or maybe even la joie de vivre. And we keep feeling that there should be something more to life but don’t know how to tap it.

Sometimes we just suddenly realize, “but I dreamed of something else when I was a kid! I thought I could be anything I want in life! What am I doing with that dream now? Where is that child now?”

It is my passion to inspire you to recapture the energy and confidence to go after your dreams.

CAREER COACHING

A job-applying process is very well established: we write a resume and a letter of intent, send them to the potential employer, then we wait to be called for an interview where we answer the employer’s questions, and possibly ask a few question of our own. After a few applications, it could all very well become a routine. We mostly need to adjust the cover letter to fit the new employer’s characteristics.

I feel that a job-seeking process is an amazing time to rediscover your core strengths and qualities. Look back to your professional milestones so far and identify the achievements which made you the person you are today. Be proud of them, and try to connect them with what you want to do in the future, highlighting the way these accomplishments have shaped you into the person you are today. Every one of us is great at doing something, we just need to know where to look to discover what is our unique sales proposal.

I do believe that applying for a job should be approached the way a salesman prepares for a meeting with his most important customer of all times. After all, isn’t this what we do when going to an interview: marketing our qualities, strengths and ambitions to the potential employer, while persuading him we are the best fit to his requirements?

I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that don’t work.

SUCCESS MINDSET

“The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But, it ain’t how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward.” In my opinion, nobody says it better than Rocky Balboa. At one time or another, we’ve all have had life hit us with rejection and adversity. Maybe it was the bully from school who made our life a nightmare. Maybe it is an unrequited, unshared love, which makes us feel that life has no meaning and purpose without the loved person. Or maybe a series of rejected job applications, when it’s easy to feel that we’ll never find a job again. Normally, we should be able to pick ourselves up from such situations and continue fighting, and most of the time, most of us indeed do so.

But there’s those times when we lose self-confidence after painful defeats. It’s easy to start feeling like we are a failure and that we’ll never have anything good happen to us again. There’s nothing wrong with that, in the beginning. Failure and disappointment are human feelings, and it’s ok to feel them. But, as any negative emotion, they are also very strong feelings, and before we know it they overwhelm us, and that’s when things get serious.

It doesn’t have to get to this point. Self-confidence is a skill that can be learned. Just like the body, the mind must also be trained. We can and we must learn how to deal with failure. We can teach our brain to not associate us with our failures, but rather use them to learn from our mistakes. And by doing so, we get rid of the fear of making mistakes, because we are finally able to see the mistakes for exactly what they are: just an indicator towards what we still need to learn in order to become the greatest version of ourselves.

When hit hard by life, even the strongest of us need a bit more strength, and even the most confident might need a push of self-esteem and self-respect. With the right tools, everyone can learn how to hit back and keep moving forward. And once we move forward and reach our goals, the overwhelming feeling we’ll have will be one of immense pride that we became so good that we were able to overcome whatever obstacles and adversities life threw at us. Then we’ll know we are able to achieve anything we set our mind to because nothing can make us give up. We even get to love difficulties, adversities and challenges because they made us grow and discover the greatest version of ourselves.

Whenever you’re down, look up, get up, and never give up
